MARTIAL ARTS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY IN WOLLONGONG

We have Martial Arts classes for the whole family- preschoolers, kids, teens and adults. Build confidence, get fit, learn self defence, focus and real-world skills in a fun, safe and structured environment.

LITTLE RANGERS PRESCHOOL CLASS- 3 - 5yrs old

Our Little Rangers (preschool class) is the perfect balance of fun and education of self-defence basics. Whist improving gross motor skills, practicing counting, colours and following verbal instructions.

For students to be able to try this class, they developmentally need to be out of nappies.

This class runs:
Monday-Thursday 4-4:30pm

JUNIOR MARTIAL ARTS PROGRAM- 6-12yrs old

The Primary Martial Arts program is tailored for children in primary school, helping them grow in physical fitness, mental resilience, and self-discipline. Through structured lessons in martial arts techniques, your child will improve focus, agility, and respect, all while building lifelong skills in perseverance and goal-setting.

The difference with our Junior Martial Arts program to other schools, is that our classes are split into three classes of skill levels– Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. We pride ourselves on this system, as this ensures:

1. Every Child Learns at Their Own Pace
Not every child starts with the same level of coordination, confidence, or focus. Separating classes lets each student grow without pressure or comparison.

2. More Focused Instruction
Instructors can tailor drills and feedback to the group’s skill level, which means less time explaining basics to advanced kids (or vice versa) and more time training effectively.

3. Better Progression and Goal Setting
Kids stay motivated when they clearly see what’s next. Structured levels give them goals to work toward, like earning their next belt or joining the next class up.

4. Builds Confidence and Leadership
Beginner kids aren’t overwhelmed by advanced students, and advanced students get the chance to step up as role models or mentors – building both confidence and leadership.

5. Safer Training Environment
Our smaller classes allows for higher student to teacher ratios.
These skill appropriate groups also reduce the risk of injuries and accidents, especially in drills or partner work. Everyone is paired at the right intensity level for their stage.

6. Creates a Stronger Community
Kids bond more when they’re training alongside peers at their level. It creates camaraderie, support, and healthy competition – which helps them stick with it long-term.

7. Prepares Them for Advanced Challenges
Having a clear progression path ensures that by the time students reach higher levels, they’re truly ready – physically, mentally, and emotionally.

These Classes Run:
Junior Beginners-
White, Yellow, Orange Belts 4:30-5:10pm (this is the free trial class)
Junior Intermediates- Green, Blue, Purple Belts 5:10-5:50pm 
Junior Advanced- 5:50-6:30pm

Our Teen and Adult Martial Arts classes are perfect for those looking to improve their fitness, learn self-defense, or challenge themselves in a supportive community. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to take your skills to the next level, our expert instructors provide tailored lessons in a motivating, respectful environment.

This class has all skill levels, from white belt to senior black belt, focusing on an inclusive learning environment where you all learn from one another.
