Our Programs at Adapt Academy
Boxing: Our boxing classes are structured training sessions where people learn and practice the skills and techniques of boxing. We have both non-contact sessions (which focus on footwork, technique and fitness) and contact sessions( focus on conditioning, contact drills and sparring)- these classes are available from 14 years and up.
Our academy also has an amateur boxer fight team, and hosts fight nights for them to compete in.

Martial Arts: Our main Martial Art is Hapkido– which is a Korean martial art that focuses on self-defence. It combines techniques from other martial arts, like kicking, punching, joint locks, throws, weapons training and has elements of Tae Kwon Do/BJJ/Boxing.
The main idea behind Hapkido is using an opponent’s energy against them, rather than just relying on brute strength. It teaches how to defend yourself effectively by using smart, efficient movements to control or disable an attacker.
These classes are available from 3 years old (developmentally out of nappies), and go up to adults.
We split these classes up not only by age but by skill level. This ensure no student is lost in the crowd, and gets the attention they deserve.

Timetable

ADAPT Martial Arts & Boxing Academy runs Monday to Thursday almost the entire year!
We only close during public holidays and for two weeks over Christmas. We encourage students to attend extra classes during school holidays to make up for these closures throughout the year.
Classes:
Our class timetable is flexible- you are not locked into a set day. We understand that life requires flexibility, and we accommodate for that with our classes. If you miss a week of training, don’t worry, Make up classes can be done at any suitable time.
However, make up classes are done in good faith. Missed classes do not accumulate over time to then suspend payments at a later date and are not accepted as contract termination notice.
