ABOUT ADAPT MARTIAL ARTS AND BOXING ACADEMY
Our Academy has been servicing the Illawarra since the early 2000s, and is located in the heart of Wollongong at 234 Corrimal Street. Our family run business prides itself for setting the standard for excellence in Hapkido, Boxing and Fight Nights.
Our Academy is focused on inclusivity, and community– we are the place for anyone and everyone. We want our academy to be a place you call home, your safe space- so you can become your best self.
MEET OUR OWNER KOSTA
Our owner Kosta Skrapis, is a 5-0 winning professional boxer, and has dedicated his life to Martial Arts and currently has a 4th Dan Black Belt in Hapkido and 4th Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.
As well as being a professional boxer, he also hosts local fight nights and coaches both amateur and professional boxers.
Kosta runs Adapt with his wife Sarah, has his mum Dee as one of our support instructors, and has his daughter Kalani running on the mats.
MEET OUR TEAM
Our team are active students of over a decade, and are dedicated to being role models and mentors in yours and your child’s journey.
Miss Michelle has been a student for close to 20 years, and has her 3rd Dan Black Belt in Hapkido, and 2nd Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and teaches our Ladies Boxing Class.
The rest of our team have been students for a decade;
Miss Ruby is a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Hapkido and 1st Dan Black Belt Tae Kwon Do.
Mr Rocco is a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Hapkido and active Amateur Boxer.
Mr Toby is a 1st Dan Black in Hapkido and active Amateur Boxer.
And Miss Paige is a 2nd Degree Junior Black Belt and is the first student to complete our full program from preschool to high school.
